1. Who we are

This privacy policy applies to Host Dusk (hostdusk.com) and its related services (the “Service”), operated by TEXTINTEL FZE, Starcamp Global, DWTC The Offices One, Office Number 01.03, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are the data controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: such as your name, email address and the sign-in method you use.
• Content: the photos you upload and the results created from them.
• Payment data: details of your purchases and subscriptions. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
• Technical and usage data: such as IP address, browser and device information, and how you use the Service.
• Communications: messages you send us and reports you submit.

3. How we use your data

• to provide, operate and maintain the Service and your account;
• to process payments and manage subscriptions;
• to send you service messages, such as sign-in codes and notifications about your account;
• to provide support and respond to your requests;
• to keep the Service secure and prevent fraud and abuse;
• to improve the Service;
• to comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases

We process personal data to perform our contract with you, on the basis of your consent where we ask for it, for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Service, and to comply with the law. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

5. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:

• with service providers that help us provide the Service, such as hosting, payment processing, authentication and image processing providers, under contracts that require them to protect it;
• with Google, as the provider of Google Analytics, only if you allow analytics cookies (see Cookies below);
• when required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public;
• in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, under this policy.

6. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

7. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards only as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. You can delete your content and your account at any time.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@hostdusk.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. You can delete your account at any time.

10. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the Service to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a cookie that remembers your cookie choice for one year. These do not need your consent.

With your consent, we also use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (Google Ireland Limited for users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland), to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. Its cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>) are kept for up to 2 years. Google Analytics receives information such as the pages you visit, the events you trigger (for example, starting a checkout), your browser and device, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. It does not receive your email address, the names of your listings or your photos, and we do not use it for advertising. Google may process this data outside your country, including in the United States. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Google Analytics is off until you choose “Accept all” in the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of our pages, or in Settings, Privacy; turning it off deletes the analytics cookies on this browser.

11. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the date above.
